It doesn’t matter what computer you use to access your Peoples State Bank accounts online. To experience our new digital banking platform, please clear your browser cache. Then use your current username and password in our Online Banking Login portal in the upper right-hand corner of our website. Resize your web browser and our digital banking platform resizes with it.

Phone App

Use the convenience of a phone app to access your Peoples State Bank accounts. Our app is called Bank Peoples. Look for the yellow Peep icon over a green background. Once you download the app, use your username and password to access your accounts.

To support the security measures we put in place to keep your data safe, we require the use of a modern browser. As new versions of browsers are released, we will deprecate support for older versions. The most up to date versions of Microsoft Edge, Mozilla Firefox, Google Chrome and Apple Safari are all supported. Microsoft Internet Explorer no longer receives any feature updates and does not support modern web application security. All users are highly encouraged to switch to Microsoft Edge.

General FAQs

If you’re a current Peoples State Bank customer, use your username and password to sign into the new platform. If you’re not, then click on the Enroll Now link to start the process. You’ll need to know your account number, email address associated with the account, and social security number to enroll.

In the lower right corner of the screen, look for a question mark. Hovering your mouse over it will open two options to click on, either a phone number to use to call, or a conversation bubble to bring you to our email system. Click on the Start a conversation link, and type in your questions or comments. We’ll get back to you as soon as we can during normal business hours.

To enroll in Bill Pay, you must visit our website using a computer and login using your username and password. Click “pay a bill” on the dashboard. Click Enroll, and then click Continue. 

This is an added security feature that prompts you to authenticate your account information.

Desktop FAQs

From the dashboard, simply click on the account for which you’d like to see the eStatement. Look for a content block that includes things like Transfer, Documents, Spending Habits, Stop Payments, and click on the Documents button. You’ll be provided a list of eStatements for that account. Click on the View button to view the eStatement you’re interested in. Clicking on View opens the eStatement in a new pop-up window. If you have pop-ups blocked on your browser, you may have to change the settings or make an allowance for our website.

You can also get to your Accounts by clicking Accounts in the top dark gray menu bar. You’ll be shown a list of the accounts you have with Peoples. From there, click on the account, and look for Documents to get to your eStatements.

On a desktop browser, click on your name in the upper gray menu bar. Then click on the Settings button in the dropdown menu that appears. Under User Management, click on the word Profile. On the Profile page you’ll be able to change your image, address, email, and phone number.

Scroll to the bottom of the Dashboard page. You’ll see a button labeled “Organize dashboard.” Clicking on it opens a menu which allows you to drag and drop to reorder any of the cards on the Dashboard. Grab the menu cards using the six dots to the left of the name. You can also delete cards from this screen. To add cards back, or to add new cards, click on the “+ Add a card” button. You’ll be shown an available list of cards you can add to the Dashboard. Clicking on a new card will move it to the Dashboard menu, where you can move it to the spot you’d like. When you’re finished, click “Done” on the Organize dashboard menu to get back to the Dashboard.

There are several ways to get to the bill payment page. 

  • On the top gray menu bar, you can choose Move money, and then Payments. From there, click Pay a bill in the top right list of options. You’ll be presented a list of the Payees you’ve set up. Choose the Payee you want to pay. 
  • OR you can click the Pay a bill button on the Payments card. You’ll see the list of Payees you have set up. Choose the Payee you want to pay. Click on Make a payment. 
  • OR you can click Pay a bill from the Move money card on your dashboard. You’ll be presented a list of the Payees you’ve set up. Choose the Payee you want to pay. 
  • OR you can click Manage payments from the Payments card. You’ll be presented a list of the Payees you’ve set up. 

Fill in the amount of the payment in the Amount window. Click More options to choose when you want to pay, to make a rush or recurring payment, and to add a memo or note on the payment.

There are a couple of ways to get to the Manage payments page to pay multiple companies.

  • On the top gray menu bar, you can choose Move money, and then Payments. From there, click Manage payments in the top right list of options. 
  • OR you can click the Manage payments button on the Payments card. 

You’ll be presented a list of the Payees that will allow you to enter information for each one separately without leaving that page.

There are several ways to get to the Transfers page.

  • On the top gray menu bar, choose Move money, and then Transfers. Choose Make a transfer. 
  • OR click Make a transfer on the Transfers card. 
  • OR click Make a transfer on the Move money card. 

Choose what account you want money taken from, and what account to send it to, and fill in the amount. If you want the transfer made right away, click Submit. Choose More options to make the transfer recurring, or to change the date of the transfer. You can make a transfer to or from an external financial institution where you hold an account by clicking the Add account link under Make external transfer with another financial institution. You’ll be asked to verify your Peoples account password as a security measure. You’ll need to know the routing number of the external financial institution, along with your account number. 

There are several ways to add an external account. 

  • On the top gray menu bar, choose Move money, and then Transfers. Click +External account on the Transfers card. 
  • OR on the top gray menu bar, choose Move money, and then Transfers. Click Make a transfer. Under Make external transfers with another financial institution, choose Add account. 
  • OR click Make a transfer from the Move money card on the dashboard. Under Make external transfers with another financial institution, choose Add account. 
  • OR click Make a transfer from the Transfers card on the dashboard. Under Make external transfers with another financial institution, choose Add account. 
  • OR click your name, and then choose Settings from the dropdown menu. Choose + Add account from the left column menu. Choose Setup external transfer account from the pop-up window that opens. 

You’ll be asked to verify your Peoples account password as a security measure. You’ll need to know the routing number of the external financial institution, along with your account number. 

There are several ways to Pay a person once you are enrolled in BillPay.

  • On the Payments card, click Pay a person. 
  • OR on the Move money card, click Pay a person.
  • OR on the top gray menu bar, choose Move money, and then Payments. Click Pay a person from the right column.

To set up a new person to pay, click + Add another person. Enter the name of the person, their phone number, their email, and choose a shared keyword that you will only share with that person through another means. When the person receives their email, they will need to input their financial institution routing number and their account number to receive the money. After they set up their account information, you’ll be notified. At that point, you can select them from the Person Payee list, fill in an amount to send them, along with options if you want to make the payment recurring, or at a later date. 

There are several ways to turn off or on your Peoples debit card.

  • From the Dashboard, click on the account your debit card is associated with from the Accounts card. 
  • OR on the top gray menu bar, click Accounts, and choose the account your debit card is associated with.
  • OR on the top gray menu bar, click your name, and then choose Settings from the drop-down menu. Click on Peoples State Bank under the Accounts section on the left-hand menu.

Click on the debit card you want to turn off or on from the Cards block on the right-hand side. You can turn the card off or on, report the card as lost or stolen, or reorder cards from this menu. If you’ve received a new card, you can activate it from this menu, too.

There are several ways to access the Alerts menu for your accounts.

  • From the Dashboard, click on the account you want to set up the alert for from the Accounts card. Click on the Manage alerts link on the right-hand column menu. 
  • OR on the gray menu bar, click on Accounts, and then the account you want to set up the alert for. Click on the Manage alerts link on the right-hand column menu.
  • OR on the top gray menu bar, click your name, and then choose Settings from the drop-down menu. Click on Peoples State Bank under the Accounts section on the left-hand menu. Click on Edit> to Manage alerts for the account you want to set up alerts for.

You can choose to set up either a balance or transaction alert. A balance alert will notify you when your account drops below the level you choose. A transaction alert will notify you when either a credit to your account or debit from your account is over an amount you choose. You can choose to have the alert sent to you by text, email, or through the Peoples State Bank digital banking platform message system. 

On the gray menu bar at the top, click on your name in the right corner. Choose the Sign out option, and you’ll be signed out and taken back to the Peoples State Bank home page.

Bank Peoples App FAQs

Go to either the App Store or Google Play, and search for Bank Peoples. You’ll know you have the right app when you see the little yellow Peep icon over a green background. 

Yes, but you must sign-in using your username and password for the first time. After the first time signing into the new Bank Peoples app, you will be presented with the option to set up biometrics sign-in for future use. 

With the Bank Peoples app, simply close the program and you’ll be automatically logged out of the system. It’s safe and secure. If you reopen the Bank Peoples app, you’ll be prompted to log in again.

On the app, click on the three-line menu in the upper left-hand portion of the gray menu bar. The menu will slide out, revealing options including Settings at the bottom. Clicking on Settings opens the Settings menu, which includes your name at the top. Click on your name, and you’ll get to your Profile page, where you’ll be able to change your image, email, and phone number. You’ll need to use the desktop version to change your address.

Yes. You can deposit checks into qualified accounts using the deposit check feature found in the Bank Peoples app. From the app dashboard, click on the deposit button to get started. If this is your first time, you’ll be prompted to enroll. Check the accounts you want to enroll for mobile deposit. Please note it will take one business day for approval. 

Before you get started with a deposit, endorse the back of the check by writing “For Mobile Deposit Only, Peoples State Bank.” Also endorse the check with your signature.

On the deposit check screen, input the amount of the check you’re depositing and click continue. Select the account that you want to deposit the check into. Take a photo of the front of the check. Once it’s lined up, tap the screen to capture the image and click continue. Take a photo of the back of the check. Remember to endorse the check by writing “For Mobile Deposit Only, Peoples State Bank” on the back of the check and click continue.

If either of your images aren’t approved, you’ll be prompted to try again. If your images are approved, click Submit to send the deposit to the bank. You’ll see the deposit in your account shortly after it clears. You’ll also receive an email from Peoples alerting you the money is available.

 Yes. Simply click on the account for which you’d like to see the eStatement. Click on the View button to view the eStatement you’re interested in. 

You can also get to your Accounts by opening the slide in menu by clicking on the three short white lines at the left side of the gray menu bar. Choose Accounts from the slide in menu. Then choose the account for which you’d like to see the eStatement. Click on the Documents button, and then the View button of the eStatement you’re interested in.

First, login to the desktop version on your computer and click “pay a bill” to enroll in BillPay. There are several ways to Pay a person.

  • On the top gray menu bar, click on the three small white lines to open the slide in menu. Choose Payments.
  • OR on the Accounts card, click Pay.
  • OR on the Payments card, click Make a payment

To set up a new person to pay, click + and then click Person. Enter the name of the person, their phone number, their email, and choose a shared keyword that you will only share with that person through another means. After they set up their account information, you’ll be notified.   • From the Dashboard, click on the account your debit card is associated with from the Accounts card. 
  • OR on the top gray menu bar, click the three small white lines to open the slide in menu, then click Accounts, and choose the account your debit card is associated with.

Click on the Manage cards button. Click on the card you want to turn off or on. You can turn the card off or on, report the card as lost or stolen, or reorder cards from this menu. If you’ve received a new card, you can activate it from here, too.
