Peoples is launching a new digital banking platform in late June for both your online and mobile banking needs—designed with you in mind—providing a great customer experience no matter what device you use. We took your feedback to implement improvements, including streamlined menus, simpler navigation, and most importantly a responsive layout.

It doesn’t matter what computer you use to access your Peoples State Bank accounts online. You’ll get the same great look from device to device. Resize your web browser and our online banking platform resizes with it.
New Bank Peoples App Too!
Our new digital banking platform is so good, we recreated our mobile app to go with it. Soon, you’ll need to download our new Bank Peoples app from either the Apple Store or Google Play. While the app layout will change, you don’t need to worry. Use your same Peoples username and password to access your accounts in the new app. All the great features you’ve come to know and love—including mobile deposits and bill pay—are all in the new app.

Alerts and Recurring FI to FI Transfers
We’ve made the new digital banking platform so seamless, there are just a couple of minor items you’ll need to be aware of.
Biometrics (fingerprint or FaceID) Sign-In–In order to set up the new Bank Peoples app, we’ll be turning off biometrics (thumbprint) access for the current Peoples app on June 20. You can still sign in with your username and password until July 20 when the old app will be disabled.

Simple. We heard from Peoples customers just like you who wanted a seamless online application for their banking needs. You spoke. We listened. And we made changes to build a digital banking portal that is easy to use, has streamlined menus, simpler navigation, and a responsive layout.
Yes. If you currently access your Peoples State Bank accounts online with a username and password, you’ll be able to sign into the new online portal with those same credentials. You will however need to select new security questions and answers. After that you will need to accept the digital banking agreement.
If you access your business accounts online or through a mobile app, you’ll see the same changes as our other customers. If you utilize our Cash Management programs such as ACH and on-site deposit, you’ll see the layout of Cash Management isn’t changing.
You won’t need to make any changes at all. Simply access the new online banking portal from bankpeoples.com like you always do. Input your username and password in the Online Banking Login section in the upper right-hand corner of our website. When launched in late June, you’ll see the new layout automatically.
That depends on how you use your phone to access our online portal.
A new app was required in order to deliver easier navigation, new look and feel, and streamlined menus.
No. If you currently make payments for things like credit cards, utilities, car payments, or a mortgage, or you have person-to-person payment information established, you’re good to go with the new platform. All your payment account information will be there.
A Financial Institution (FI) to Financial Institution payment is a transfer from your Peoples State Bank personal account to another financial institution (bank or credit union) or from that financial institution to Peoples. If you use the “FI to FI Transfer” feature within the Peoples online banking platform for automatic recurring transfers to or from another bank or credit union, you will need to delete them in the old online banking platform and reschedule these automatic recurring transfers in the new digital banking platform. All your account information will be in the new platform.
No. All internal automatic transfers between any of your Peoples accounts will continue in the new online platform.
No. You’ll need to rebuild the alerts you had set regardless of how you access your account information, by desktop, laptop, tablet or by phone. Also, be aware the new online and mobile banking platform may offer more and different alert options than the current system.
We expect that business alerts will remain active from the old platform to the new, but we’re advising business customers to log into the new platform when available and check to see if their alerts are active.
Yes, but you must sign-in using your username and password for the first time. After the first time signing into the new Bank Peoples app, you will be presented with the option to set up biometrics sign-in for future use.
Yes. Deposit checks into qualified accounts using the mobile deposit anywhere feature.
Yes, all your Smart Budget information will carry over into the new platform.
The app will no longer be supported and will be disabled. You’ll need to go to the Apple Store or Google Play to download the new Bank Peoples app for your iPhone or Android device.
Once you’ve downloaded the new app, and made sure you’re able to access your accounts, you can delete the old app titled “peoples.” To distinguish the old app from the new you will see that the old one says "peoples" under it and the new app says "bank peoples".
