Wausau, Wis. (January 10, 2019) Peoples State Bank President and CEO Scott Cattanach announces the following promotions:
Michelle Lewens, promoted to officer, commercial banking, Wausau – Stewart Avenue location. Lewens has consistently displayed the bank’s core values through her hard work and leadership in executing the bank’s commercial documentation system. In addition, Lewens has been instrumental in implementing the commercial compliance plan. She’s demonstrated leadership in her role in training, compliance, documentation, and as a resource for many of her co-workers at Peoples.
Andrea Sasman, promoted to assistant vice president, mortgage loan originator, Wausau – Stewart Avenue location. Since joining Peoples in 2016, Sasman has become one of the top producing mortgage lenders. Sasman has earned the trust of her coworkers, and just as important the customers and realtors she’s worked with. Her relationship skills, knowledge, and attention to detail have helped her build great customer relationships.
Janene Ball, promoted to officer, retail mortgage operations manager, Wausau – Stewart Avenue location. In just a short time with Peoples—joining the bank in mid-2018—Ball has provided leadership, decision-making, and problem-solving skills to the mortgage processing team. She’s enhanced the engagement of the mortgage processing team through coaching and mentoring.
Vicki Mauritz, promoted to officer, Rib Mountain branch manager, Wausau – Rib Mountain location. Mauritz’s leadership and skills have enhanced the customer service team at the Peoples State Bank Rib Mountain location. Her team has responded by achieving their new account and referral goals. Additionally, Mauritz has become more active in the community, volunteering at Women in Action, Emerging Leaders, and Wausau Area Chamber events.
Kayeng Moua, promoted to officer, senior personal banker, Wausau – Stewart Avenue. Moua joined Peoples in 2005 as a personal banker and has advanced her career in a steady fashion, now seen as a leader at the bank and the community. She mentors new personal bankers, oversees some small business lending requests, and serves as a leader in her manager’s absence. Moua is involved in the community throughUnited Way committees, Upward Bound, and Hmong Festival. She was nominated for the Young Athena award in 2017.
Jackie Hamann, promoted to officer, customer service representative supervisor/auditor, Wausau – Stewart Avenue. Hamann has become a crucial part of Peoples’ compliance, security, and leadership team. She helps educate and coach bank employees on issues related to compliance and security. Her community involvement includes volunteering with Junior Achievement, United Way, and mock interviews in the Wausau schools. Recently, she graduated from the Marathon County Sheriff Department’s community officer program.
Lisa Gilles, promoted to officer, loan processing and servicing, Wausau – Stewart Avenue location. In just a short time with Peoples—joining the bank in mid-2018—Gilles has implemented many efficiencies and workflow improvements in the loan servicing department. Her previous experience in the banking industry, and leadership while at Peoples has earned her the trust of her co-workers and our customers.
Ben Bowman, promoted to assistant vice president, information technology, Wausau – Stewart Avenue location. Over the past two years, Bowman has been a critical resource in the bank’s information technology department. He’s effectively led several improvements within the support and technology areas that positions the bank for our continued growth.
Kevin Daniels, promoted to senior analyst – network administrator, Wausau – Stewart Avenue location. Daniels has become an integral part of the Peoples information technology department, making numerous improvements to our data systems and network technology, phone systems, servers, and cybersecurity readiness. He exhibits our core values through positive attitude, customer centric focus, and a hunger to learn.
Ron Aderholdt, promoted to operations manager - facilities, Wausau – Stewart Avenue location. With the growth of Peoples comes a need to focus on facilities projects. Aderholt’s promotion to operations manager of facilities will provide the time for him to focus on the bank’s physical security and facilities management practices. Additionally, Aderholdt has proven over 17 years at Peoples a passion for helping others including his co-workers and the bank’s customers.
