Peoples Announces 2024 Employee Promotions

 

Wausau, Wis. (January 8, 2024) Peoples State Bank President and CEO Scott Cattanach announces the following promotions:

Kody McHugh, senior credit analyst team leader and officer. McHugh supervises the bank’s Wausau credit team, which reviews business loan applications and helps determine the customer’s credit risk.

 

 

 

photo of Michael MerrittMichael Merritt, commercial banker and officer. Merritt was promoted to the commercial banker position from a portfolio management position. Over the last two years, Merritt has originated nearly $15 million in loans in SE Wisconsin while serving business owners with solutions for their banking needs.

 

 

 

photo of Erik RajekErik Rajek, senior vice president and chief credit officer. Rajek joined Peoples in January 2022 and is responsible for the bank’s commercial credit risk department. Recently Rajek launched the bank’s Small Business Administration (SBA) 7a guaranteed commercial loan program.

Oelhafen is the leader of the bank’s Marathon branch, serving business customers and their families.  He is also a local community leader for the benefit of the Village and serves in many volunteer roles in Marathon city.

 

 

 

Amy Peek, internal auditor, internal controls officer. Peek is responsible for coordinating the monitor of the bank’s key internal and external audits, ensuring the bank is compliant with federal and state banking regulations and internal policy.

 

 

 

Naomi Lenz, assistant vice president and loan servicing manager. Lenz leads the bank’s loan servicing operation and since joining Peoples in 2022 has established a high-quality loan processing system, and developed process improvements across multiple departments.
