“Reaching 40 years in banking is a remarkable achievement,” said Wisconsin Bankers Association president Rose Oswald Poels. “This award recognizes Kari’s long-standing dedication to our industry and the positive impact she has had on customers, colleagues, and the community.”

Solomonson started her banking career as a teller in 1986 in Bloomington, Minnesota and joined Peoples as a senior personal banker in 2010. “I’m honored to receive this award from the WBA,” said Solomonson. “Community banking is about more than transactions; it’s about relationships, trust, and helping our neighbors and businesses thrive. I am grateful to my colleagues, customers and community partners who have made my career so meaningful.”

“There is no doubt that Kari has made impactful contributions to her team and community over the years. She is a valuable resource and a wealth of knowledge for our staff and customers,” said Scott Cattanach, Peoples State Bank president and CEO. “We are certainly proud of her for this accomplishment.”
