Wausau, Wis. (March 6, 2026): Peoples State Bank is proud to announce special recognition as a Best Human Resources Team from Employee Benefit News (EBN), in partnership with Best Companies Group. The team earning this award includes Tina Seidl, executive vice president and human resources director; Jen Cassell, senior human resources generalist; Dawn Darling, learning and development officer; and Scott Staszak, talent acquisition manager.
The 2026 Best HR Teams list highlights 30 outstanding companies across the country whose strategies are strengthening culture, supporting retention and helping their businesses navigate an increasingly complex workplace. Peoples State Bank’s HR team continues to set the bar high, and the bank is grateful to receive acknowledgement as a top tier employer.

Companies from across the US entered the two-part survey process. The first part consisted of evaluating each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophy, systems and demographics. The second part consisted of an employee survey to measure employee experience. The combined scores determine the top companies and final rankings. Best Companies Group managed the overall registration and survey process, analyzed the data and determined the rankings.
